Get involved in golf at Roe Park

So next week kicks off one of our first blocks of group coaching at Roe Park Resort. This will be aimed at Ladies and in particular beginners or newcomers to the game. It will be hosted by returning PGA Professional David Allen, who I am delighted to welcome back to the Golf Shop. This will be a perfect opportunity to ease into the game in a friendly and welcoming environment, and to start your golfing journey. Areas of the game such as basics of how to hold the club, how to aim, which clubs to use for different shots, and fundamental movements will all be covered. I am personally very excited to have launched a programme such as this at Roe Park Resort, and the plan over the coming year is to roll out sessions for adults and junior golfers of different abilities. Combined with an upcoming school programme that will launch in 2020, we want to continue to grow the game of golf, encouraging young and old alike to get involved in a game that is challenging, fun, social and highly beneficial for your health.
