My answers to yesterday’s questions

1. Why do you play golf? I started playing when very young, 6 years old and it was a very strong family pastime. I was lucky enough to be around the game all throughout my life, and I love playing for the fun of it. It gives me a great satisfaction and joy to play the game. Now as a PGA Professional, I enjoy playing to spend time with friends, family, club members and meeting new people. There aren’t too many better ways to get to know someone than on the golf course. 2. Where do you see your golf game in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and 5 years from now? 3 months-a few swing changes in progress at the minute will hopefully have bedded in by then and I will be able to hit the ball with a more consistent shape and trajectory than my current swing allows 😂 6 months-into the start of the new season and aiming to play at least once a week, alongside getting back into playing some regular PGA events 1 year-being able to hit the ball with a solid draw, more driver distance, and improved course management. 5 years-hopefully being able to take money off my daughters on the golf course! 3.What are the strengths of your game? Putting, ability not to get flustered. 4. What are the weaknesses in your game? Inconsistent shot shape due to club path too far in to out on occasion. Short game in particular pitching from 25-75 yards. What do you practice most? 7/8 irons. Not enough time scheduled to practice can leave me feeling like a beginner again.
