Michael McCrudden

Michael McCrudden is the resident PGA Professional here at Roe Park and strives to provide a friendly and informative service to members and visitors alike. Highly innovative in his approach, Michael can provide solutions to any form of golfing problem!

Having benefited from his PGA Training at Royal Portrush Golf Club where Michael worked for 6 years, he has been fortunate to not only have exposure to some of the top players in the world, but play with golfers such as Graeme McDowell and Darren Clarke and get a great insight into how these players prepare mentally and physically for their game.

An experienced Golf Coach and a keen follower of golf theory, Michael ensures that he and the team keep up to date with the latest information about the golf swing, and use both a high speed camera and video technology, Flightscope, GC2 Launch Monitor and V1 Video Analysis in their lessons and custom fitting sessions. A certified Custom Fitter for TaylorMade, PING, Titleist, Mizuno and Benross, Custom Fit sessions are available to improve everyone’s game.

Michael offers a well stocked shop that caters for the needs of all players at all levels with the leading brands that you would expect. The Golf Shop exudes a warm welcome for all and caters for repairs and re-grips as well as advice on all equipment, clothing and accessories.

Founder of LearnGolfNI, which promotes Golf in the Community, Michael is also a SNAG (Starting New at Golf) Coaching Professional, which is perfect for beginners or young golfers. Using a modified system of golf clubs, balls and training aids, it is a great first-touch system for those new to golf. This system has complimented his Junior and Beginner’s golf lessons perfectly, and group sessions have become highly popular in my Junior Coaching Programme.

Individual and Group Lessons are available and throughout the year. Junior and Ladies Coaching Camps are run through Easter and Summer. Michael aims to build lesson programs and practice programs to help all levels of players improve.
